Educated Guesses: Week 7

I have played 130 holes of golf in four days (31 more to go) and am way too tired to think of anything clever to say about the kindergarten name-calling by Palmetto coaches, the ruthlessness of CPJ or the vandalous lack of perspective of some Bulldogs fans.
(Yes I know the Aquinas-LC game is already over, but I still stick with my pick that Irish were better despite the outcome.)
So here are my truncated educated guesses for Week 7:
South Carolina@ LSU: If they could shut down Aaron Murray and Georgia, they can shut down Zach Mettenberger and the toothless Tigers. GAMECOCKS 23, Tigers 10.
Texasvs. Oklahoma: Could go either way. LONGHORNS 38, Sooners 31.
Florida@ Vanderbilt: Setting up another top-five SEC East showdown. GATORS 27, Commodores 14.
West Virginia@ Texas Tech: Mounties could go all the way to title game. MOUNTAINEERS 51, Red Raiders 35.
Stanford @ Notre Dame: Is ND for real? Hmm. FIGHTING IRISH 35, Cardinal 24.
North Carolina@ Miami: Could be trap for south Florida revival. HURRICANES 24, Tar Heels 21.
TexasA&M @ Louisiana Tech: As if the SEC wasn’t tough enough, even the “patsies” are ranked. AGGIES 44, Bulldogs 42.
Tennessee@ Mississippi State: Derek Dooley loses again to SEC Bulldogs. BULLDOGS 35, Vols 20.
Wofford @ Georgia Southern: This is a big one that could decide the Southern Conference, EAGLES 27, Terriers 24.
GeorgiaState@ Rhode Island: A battle of winless teams. May be Bill Curry’s last chance to win. RAMS 20, Panthers 17.
LincolnCounty@ Aquinas: For the first time, I believe Brendan Douglas and Co. are better than Larry Campbell’s team. IRISH 34, Red Devils 22.
